help...is this just from being untuned???
help...is this just from being untuned??? ok i got my new motor built details in my signature. and i also swapped to a 6 speed in the process. everything works perfect and the car runs great. the only thing is sometimes it dies as soon as i start it and when i come to a stop sign and push in the clutch the car dies unless you feather the pedal. if you just push the clutch in it just dies...in my auto the car died coming to a stop before it was tuned but with a 6 speed i didnt think a tune was such a big deal with my cam. i know it will help alot but didnt think it was necessary right away. i have a tr224 cam the .581/.581 version on a 114. can anybody help me out? i know nothing about the tuning aspect of these cars. also the car is running real rich...but i have no cats so i figure it would smell a little. it has a little black smoke when you really get on it hard. the computer is for a 6 speed and has a stock tune from what i understood. any imput would help. thanks guys.
