Ok as stated above im a complete novice.. i have bought a HP tuners Pro and im unsure of how to go about making a base tune..

the car is a 79 malibu and the engine is a 2002 LS1, its an automatic, but i am running a seperate transmission comtroller to allow me to use my paddleshifter... Im not running cats, any of the smog crap.. i have long tubes and full dual 3 inch exhaust with x pipe.. i also need to delete Vats.. im totally lost, what do i do???

download a file for an 02 M6 car and flash that since you don't need trans control.

Vats is just in a pull down (turning it off I mean), nothing to be told about it really

lol.. ill give thay a shot thanx, and found the vats delete btw.. what about all that tourque management.. shouldnt i just kill it by inserting a big nunmer?

trans or engine tq mngmnt? the m6 file will have the trans tq mngmnt wiped out already. the only engine tq mngmnt setting to change would be to raise max tq to 630, but I am not sure thats even necessary, I just do it.
