Make sure I got this straight, on idle vacuum kpa to In Hg
stock car will idle at 20 inches vacuum correct, that shows 10 in hg on autotap MAP reading. You would use the 10 in Hg value (abs. pressure) to convert to Kpa, should be about 33 kpa yes?
On a cammed car that reads 17.3 In Hg, subtract from atmospheric (29.6) gives you 12.3 inches vacuum, but youd use the 17 In Hg to arrive at or around 55-60 Kpa.
