It can store many recordings and then you connect that to your PC that has the Ease PCM scanner, it downloads the recording from the box and can be stored, replayed or analyzed on PC.
I usually turn off the suspend mode option so that I can close the screen without it shutting down. This way the laptop is still on and logging. The laptop either slides under the seat from the back or I just leave it in the rear floor board. The other solution is to get a serial cable extension and place the laptop in the t-top storage area in the back.

Again you then also need the Ease scanner and you just plug logger to it and click on Data Logger Icon and it downloads recording to Ease scanner
