You can find out right through HPTuners website.

There are a few options as far as the actual software price goes, but I believe it takes 2 credits for one VIN.

Its two credits to license a single vcm, your initial purchase would come with 8 credits meaning you have enough to tune up to 4 separate LS1 vcm's without spending another dime.

O alright i thought that you have to get a credit for everything you want to change on the cars. Like if i tune it it would be one credit. Deleting the o2s would be another. Will the hp tuners be just as good as tuning a cammed car if i go to a shop?

With mine it was 2 credits for single car and 1 credit for a maf tune to be unlocked leaving me with 5 credits left and i also unlocked the SD tune for the track so i now have 4 left ... and you can tune your heart out unless you want to go turbo or supercharged then 2 and 3 bar OS comes into play and will cost you some more credits... hope this helps.

ACTUALLY...starting with the newest public version 2.22 you license a VCM Enhancement for 2 credits & it allows you to then tune that vehicle using any one of our custom operating systems.

For instance:
You initially choose to run the 1 bar SD enhancement for 2 credits

You then decide to run the 1 bar MAF w/RTT enhancement(uses 0 credits)

Then 6 months from now you go to a turbo setup for 10psi of boost so you switch to the 2 bar SD enhancement(uses 0 credits)

Then a month later you opt to up the boost to 22psi so you switch to the 3 bar SD enhancement(uses 0 credits)

This was done not only to ease confusion and allow our customers to choose, at will, which enhancement they want or need but also affords us a reason to continue developing further custom operating systems for new platforms such as the Corvette, G8, etc.

If you own a USB style interface you'll just need to read out the pcm & apply 2 credits to licensing it. If you own a serial style interface you'll need to login to your customer page and visit the order upgrades link where you'll need to upgrade to the usb interface since the old serial interface cannot communication with the newer pcm's.

More info on how to license a pcm can be found here
