Default P0154 Code after Header Install?

Hey there,

I just finished installing my race style pacesetters and LS6 intake and I got one code from the EGR sensor (P0405, since I removed the EGR that makes sense) but I also got a P0154 code which is:

HO2S Circuit Insufficient Activity Bank 2 Sensor 1

Which side of the car is that and does that have to do with an O2 sensor? I know my dumb *** buddy took out one of my O2 sensors with an impact gun so it could be a possibility that he broke it. Are the front and rear O2 sensors the same? What I'm getting at is if he indeed broke a front O2 sensor, could I replace it with one of the rear ones that I no longer need because I removed the cats?

Thanks in advance!

Front and rear O2's are not the same, very possible that it is broken if removed/installed with impact. Bank 2, sensor 1 should be passenger side sensor pre-cat. Well if you have LT's now and no cats in the Y pipe you should only have 1 O2 on the passenger side. You didnt mix up the front and rear O2's right? You should check and see what that sensor is doing if you have something to give you real time data like a scanner or predator or something.

Check for burnt wires on the passenger side, or a bad o2 extention wire if you are using those. That code just means that your computer is not seeing any activity on that sensor. So usually it is just a wiring thing.

Well, that would make sense since the passenger side O2 was the one that he took out with the impact gun . I made sure each O2 sensor I took out was put back exactly the same (front passenger goes back to front passenger, etc.). So it looks like I need a new one, should I buy just one new O2 sensor or two being that my car has 110K on it?

with that many miles on it, i would say replace both fronts. It will be good for the car.

Any recommended O2 sensors I should buy? Stock GM? Bosch? Which ones would be the best for a full bolton car that may do H/C in the distant future?
