Default MAP sensor not reading properly...no fuel enrichment

went to get the car tuned today and came across a problem with my MAP sensor. it is reading -10 vacuum under load or at idle. i thought it might be a pinched wire but it all looked good when i pulled the intake. anyways, the car was running 14.1:1 because the its not getting the fuel enrichment from the MAP not working. any insight on what could be the problem or how to test the map sensor? ive got a ohm reader so im going to try to find the pin on the pcm and trace it to the sensor.

thanks, adam

btw the car is tuned with ls1edit.

Unplug the map sensor and jumper the 5v reference wire to the signal wire and see if you scanner reads 5v. If it does then those 2 wire are good. Then make sure that you have a good ground on the ground wire. If that's good then it's the map sensor.

the signal wire could be shorted to 5V or the ground wire is open..disconnect the connector and check the reading with the scanner it should read low map.

do it while KEY ON engine OFF
