Funny you say that cause when one of the codes were pulled it did say a the crack sensor. Yes it the NOS Nitrous Timing Controller with the LCD touch screen. I will follow up on that as well.

So you swapped interiors and then it started acting crazy? The PCM is not gonna drop a tune 'cos you disconnected the battery. Did you drive it right after the interior swap?

I'm gonna go out on a limb here 'cos everyone's answered a lot or Tuning related questions ....

I don't know too much about the GTO's but do you think that anything was left unplugged when you swapped the interior? Were the seats switched? Do the seats have vacuum/air lines going to them like in the f-bodies? I'm just wondering if it's something as simple as a vacuum leak that started the whole ordeal and messed up the O2 sensors/etc. by the fuel trims dumping too much fuel ... okay, now beat me to death

I'll throw this out; what shape is the battery in? If it's not good it could give lousy voltage. Just a thought; swap one with someone else as it's cheap to try.

I used to travel a lot for work as well. Hated every second of it. Jet lag, crowded air planes, no sleep for days @ times. Then arrive home where everone assumes you've had some kind of vacation.

Without seeing the car I'm going to say it's the MAF. Sounds just like a problem I had recently. Had a SLP MAF and needed a 50% change to the MAF curve over stock. Threw that POS in the garbage can. But it did the same thing.Ran fine for awhile then went to ****,then fine again.

...
We took it out on some back roads and made a few N/A passes and nitrous hits. Everything was fine per the AEM wideband. Well the wife wanted all black leather interior so we had a friend to swap with. Well in order to not get a airbag light during the swap which is typical if you do not disconnect the battery. So we disconnected the battery and made the swap.
...
Was the key off when the battery was disconnected and later reconnected...?

Yes no codes.

Ok all I think I might have found the issue. I rem when I was at Gforce mike and joe seen that my catch can was hooked up wrong (prev owner install) so they fixed it for me. Ok now my point. When I pulled the intake I did notice oil in the chambers of the heads and did not think nothing of it till today. I went and had the codes read and guess what a map sensor code so and a few others so while at the store I got a new one. Well pulled the old one and guess what there is oil on it so I think hmmmmmmm let's check this oil catch can. Guess what its full!!!!!!!!!

Think I solved it? This would explain while it was tuned before and went to crap and why all cylinders were going lean and the wideband going crazy

I'll bet I know exactly what it is...

http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showth...=rear+GTO+lean

When you disable the rear o2's in a GTO the computer can do some funky stuff on you.. Like go extremely lean in cruise.

I'm not sure if the 04 will do it but the 05's definitely have this issue. Maybe its an auzzy thing

OK, so has the new MAP sensor solved the problem? If not, what were the other codes?

idels high and there was a code for that. Lean bank. But the reason for the high idel could be the valve is stuck or gunked up or something so I am going to take the throttle body off and clean that and the MAF. It does run but can it be tuned. I am waiting on my hptuners so I can get some logs.

Alvin- After reading that it might be a issue and I will address it. I know that only one rear O2 in there as the prev owner took the other one out and put the wideband in there.
