Default Truck won't start

I was driving along, minding my own business, and the engine of my 2005 Silverado just stops running. I coasted to a stop, put it in park and tried to restart the motor, but nothing. No clicks, no starter noises, nothing. All the lights work, windows roll up and down, radio, basically everything else works, but absolutely no joy on the ignition.

I read the codes it threw and got P0606 (PCM processor fault) and U0107 (lost communication with the Throttle Accuator Control Module). I checked every fuse on the vehicle and all are good. I hate to start replacing expensive electrical parts if that is not the issue.

Any thoughts?

I stuck the charger on first thing when the tow truck dropped it at the house and it was fully charged.

I had a similar problem with my 98 Tahoe recently. Turned out the harness for the crank sensor was melted on the exhaust manifold, but it did blow the ECM2 fuse.

For the 42 people that viewed this thread, and the fact that I like to see the resolution of a problem posted in a thread: The problem was a bad PCM processor (duh) and a new PCM from Jesse at Wait 4 Me cured all the ailments.
