Preditor tuner

I have a preditor tuner and when i plug it in it says not liscend for this car. what do i have to do?

Well, unfortunately with that revision the only option to unlock it is to get it back to whoever decided to use it and not return the car to stock before they sold it to you.

It must be plugged in to the car it is currently married to so the stock tune can be restored, thus unlocking the Predator.

Not trying to be a PITA, but is it factory hp tune, or original backup, or something different?
Original vehicle tune is not an option that I am aware of...

I dont know, i just went into see what was the last tune and it said original backup

OK, not sure how it could be locked unless someone plugged it back into a car and allowed it to read and save another copy of their backup file. I would place a call to the seller....

FYI, this is why we don't like people to buy used tools...never know what you will get until it is in your hands, and often times its too late then.

It came with the car i just bought. So i should pretty much just throw it away, there is no way of contacting the owner of the tuner

wouldn't the previous owner of the car you just bought, be the owner of the tuner, since it came with it????

Just noticed this car is Procharged....I have to assume it has been tuned for the blower, correct?

So, either way, I'm guessing you dont plan to tune with the Predator?

It will still allow you to datalog and read/clear codes if need be for the meantime, until we get it sorted out.
