Default 2002 A4 upshift issues/Want feedback on tune.

Thanks in advance guys,

I'm new to the tuning world and trying to figure everything out. First thing is the transmission is having upshift problems at WOT. 1-2 feels ok but its 2-3 feels sluggish/slips. Its like the TQ managment is pulling the timing back to let it shift but its not taking place inless I let off the throttle(bounces off rev limiter). Also just dricing at highway sppeds it feels like the TCC is kicking in and out under vary light throttle variations. So I have Incl a scan. The transmission has a Transgo stage 2 shift kit ans a 3500 tci stall. I'm running 3.73 gears with a 315-35-17 tire (25.5in tall)

Second.. The car drives good. Just want someone to look at the tune. See if theres room for improvement. It looks like the LTFT is way off. Car pulls hard! It has a TSP Tq v2 w/dbbl valve springs and stronger pushrods. Also a ported maf. Exaust is stock manifolds w/no cats 4" mufflex exaust.Thats about it.. Its installed in my 92 Z28. All feedback would be appriciated!! Thanks! I'll post the scan data in a bit. I guess it wasn't saved right..

Ok guys sorry. Saved file wrong. After this trip WOT up top it started feeling like it was slipping.. Pulling in and out. Also it starts feeling like the TCC is engauging/releasing at around 20% throttle at highway speeds.So heres the Log Thanks again. Ok..well dang it. I guess if you have a screen saver it stops scanning. I'll post more tomorrow.

2-3 clutch pak? Sounds like a possible tranny issue and not the tune, but just a guess.

Well..the transmission has just been gone through.. So its fresh.. Couldn't be.

Look at the TCC tables, I usually set the lock-up at 43mph & 1 mph less for the unlock.....check shift delay & line pressure to. Post up where you have them set now.

OK guys. Well RussK modded my file. Still no luck. 1-2nd feels good 2-3rd just hits rev limiter.Also why is my highway rpm so high? So heres the new file and scan. Thanks

Chater of the drum (if it is not a machined one....regular ones can be 10 thou or more out of true) or the 2-3 clutch pak. Your tune looks good.

Ok well.. You can tell theres slip in the TQ converter.. Engine rpm vs. Inputshaft speed. Attached is a BIN and Scan. You can tell at WOT at one point2-3rd The trans engauged 3rd but spun to 7000rpm. Inputchaft speed was 4000rpm. Why? Is my stall bad? its a TCI. HELP!! Thanks

I would suspect the sprag in the TC is done.....sure sounds like it. The all out TCI drag converters are good, but we have seen to many of the 4L60E ones fail with power. You will need to get the valve body in the trans gone through cause there is bound to be metal in it from the TC. Drop your tranny pan and inspect for metal......willing to bet you will see some. Give us a call if you want a bullet proof quickest ET converter for that car. Good Luck!
