im coming here from the import world wondering if ls1s have similar tuning. are these ecus programable by open source tuning through a tatrix cable? also what are the maps like. are they 20x20 or larger with fuel, timing, trim ect?

 

If you want to tune an LS1, you gotta pay up. HPTuners, EFI Live, LS1 Edit, and Tuner Cats have the market on these cars it seems.

 

these ecu's are not open source, and they need special cables to flash. (convert to J1850 vpw or can specs)

 

ive been looking into this a decent amount. looks like the same tuning paramaters just for about 600$. thanks for the info guys
