those fender vents have **** fitment. looks like someone took some super glue and slapped it on. they are supposed to be molded in. same with the side skirts and all except from that pic posted looks like the spoiler was molded nicely.

I see what you mean, but I have to say, it really looks right in person. The 'supposed to' part assumes that the owner intended to copy the 2nd gen, maybe he just preferred this look, or perhaps the curvature of the fender would demand custom vents be made rather than using 2nd gen.
Here is the Heritage custom made

Here is a good 2nd gen shot

And Jay's

3 different styles, to each his own.

Shaker from eBay (ended-up buying 2 and working with both until I was happy with one)
Bumper is a Firebird Evolution E-1. PM me if you want more info as they are a non-sponsor as far as I know.

I shot most of this collection, and grabbed the rest online.
I think there is a night video at slow speed somewhere online taken as the car show ended and the car was driven to its trailer.
AWESOME. I love the shaker and retro dash look as I had two 2nd Gen T/A's and sold my 2nd one only because my daughter was born and needed a family car.

I grew up in North Raleigh and still have lots of family there so am frequently up that way. Going to my Nephews graduation this weekend actually. PM me if you will as I would be interested in seeing your shaker set up. I promise I won't copy it though as all my savings are going to a stroker/12 bolt right now

I'd rather have the other car in that trailer. i can make out the rear door of an 80s caprice wagon and since it says "Corvette" on it, i'm pretty sure it was the 1983/1984 Caprice wagon test vehicle used to tet the L98 TPI motor and was sold at BJ this year.

Sorry, I just looked back at this post a month and a half afterward! Feel free to PM me when you are to be in the area. We have a local chapter of a F-Body club that meets as well so you may find plenty of friends.
