Re-Joining the Flock!
Re-Joining the Flock! I sold my 98 TA (listed in sig) back about a year ago to put some money away for a house. Not a day goes by that I dont regret it on one level or another: that car was the love of my life. I picked up a little 95 Saturn as a cheap/good beater so i could focus on making house payments/etc. It got me from A-to-B.
Well, earlier this month, my little beater got STOLEN while i was grocery shopping... annoying really.
As fate would have it: I'm buying another TA on Friday!! Its another 1998, only 89k miles, clean title, and with the exception of a B&M Ripper and a new centerforce clutch and new master/slave cylinders (all less than 1k miles!), the car is bone-frickin stock!! Navy Blue Metallic, t-tops, etc... all the fun stuff!
I'll keep you updated with pics when i get them!

Thats kinda what i thought too, but apparently there are only like 4 sets of keys for early saturns, so they're easy to steal. And I was kinda in a ghetto area at them time. Go figure. But it all worked out for the best.. I'm getting a Birdie again!

Verdad Gallardo Got the car!!! Pics on the way! Man, I cant believe how stock the car is.... only "mods" are a B&M ripper and a CF clutch (the last owner went aftermarket on the clutch when he replaced clutch/master/slave cyl's). I'm gonna wash the car tomorrow (day off), and work on getting some pics up.
this Navy Blue is really starting to grow on me. I still miss my old Blue-Green Metallic on '02 WS6 wheels. When the tires go out, I'm picking up new wheels. That'll be a while though: this one has new tires and I'm only gonna be putting on ~8k miles/yr.
Biggest issue right now is avoiding the temptation to mod! My budget mandates that I wait a while.
