Arguably the absolute best sounding exhaust on our cars is some sort of true duals, I love how mine sound. Zero rasp, none of that machine gun noise at certain RPM's and very smooth. Mine are loud though and I'm getting it modified this week to add 2 more bullets into it and come out the back (my only pet peeve).
For a stock style setup, GMMG is suppose to be the best, and it does sound really good. But like EVERY other catback it will get raspy with longtubes and will have that machine gun sound at certain RPM's.

I love the sound of a Magnaflow(have had it on previous cars), but I saved money and went with the SLP Loudmouth. It is definitely loud and intimidating. I love it. Keep in mind future modifications you have planned before you make your purchase. Buying long tubes and a Y tends to make the slp even louder and raspier than it is. It might be too much for someones taste if they daily their car.
The only things I've heard about flowmaster is people picking up a few horsepower when switching from that to another aftermarket exhaust. It wouldn't be the top of my list.
