Default 96 trans am bad vibration. lt1 m6 car

ive got a BAD vibration , only faster then 75mph, not on the coast side or the pull side but only when im feather the throttle.. sounds maybe like a u joint? like im talking itll rattle your teeth loose.like going over those thimgs before a stop sign... give it the gas it goes away.. let off it mostly goes away.. but just keeping a constant speed its horrible..

any ideas?

have you done any suspension mods to the car? You could have an issue with your pinion angle......

as far as i know the suspension is stock. new problem, its vibrating at 50mph now too and its associated with a knock when i shift gears or stab the gas.. and its clicking when im going slow and even more when i turn left i believe..

Does it sound like it's coming from the front or rear... maybe a tranny mount?

Cmon people, its the driveshaft. Steel ones are NOTORIOUS for bad vibrations. Throw an Ls1 driveshaft in there and good to go. Altho, it sounds like your tranny mount might be going too, if it clunks when you stab the gas.

If the vibration responds to throttle at any time, it's one of the mount sets, either engine or transmission. If not, include the tires as a possibility along with the drivetrain parts mentioned above.
