well its official im the proud owner of a 1998 firebird trans am convertible a4 with 70,000k.
needs rims, ram air hood and lots of future mods

Congrats! Looks decent and appears to have lots of tread on the tires so you won't have to lay out $$ there right away. The top looks pretty good too. Just remember (since you mentioned mods) that you get only a fraction back of what you put into the car when the day comes to sell. If you plan on keeping the car for years and years, no big deal, but if you decide to sell inside a year or 18 months be careful you don't sink too much into it. Enjoy the ride!

congrats. i have had tons of different cars but i am stuck to my 1999 navy blue metallic(nbm) ws6! spent alot of money on it an it is worth it. 20years from now it will be the car sitting in the garage that people might say is a old slow peice of history but ill still love it. just think u will never be able to buy new 1!
