Formula or Firebird? My buddy just bought a 99 Formula, its a 99 red t top car, but it says firebird on the back where the tail lights are, i have just seen pix and cant make out if it says formula or firebird on the sides.
i thought formulas say Formula not Firebird?

some people put " firehawk" on the side of their cars but they aren't real firehawks... i know, i own a real firehawk

you can't judge whether it;s a Firebird or Formula just from the tail light center filler panel because it should say Firebird even if the car is a Formula. Like others said it's not difficult to tell the difference between the V6 & LS1 engine. Third Formula's will have a W66 (Formula Package) RPO on the RPO code list on the drivers door.
