Ooooohhh, new wheel bearings! Were the old ones actually loose, or is this just a preventative maintenance thing? I like the painted steering knuckle too.
On the other hand, it looks like the caliper is hanging by the hose. If so, I suggest that you find a way to support it while doing the work. A Bungie Cord works for me.

Pics of the smoothie q when you get it. Ordered thru VFN? Anslo, I'm drooling over the new suspension!!!
Taught my kid what a strut tower brace does and showed him how to install it.
Then I took him out and taught him how to drive stick and how to to do a burnout
I'm such a bad influence...

Lol sorry, it just bothers my OCD since there is a difference between shocks and struts. There are even certain parts vendors and manufacturers that mislabel them.
In the middle of getting everything together to clay, buff, polish, and wax the bird this weekend. Fun fun.

put insurance back on it Friday, wife and I took it for a drive to go get it washed. makes ya feel alike a champ when you are stopped at a light and some old timer next to ya yells out "NICE CAR".
Also took off my hooker cat-back exhaust tips and installed my new Yokana Dual Exhaust tips. re centered my exhaust and did an under body inspection. will post pictures tomorrow.

Replaced my brake lights with LEDs. I delayed because of the reported "cruise control" issue.
Surprised to find out that my cruise control still works. I must have a defective WS6.

finally ready for the road
Ive owned this for a long time now, sitting inside for last 6 years. I bought it as a roller then life got in the way but finally managed to get it together. I'll have it on the road next week. I can't wait 😈

I installed the 4th Generation Firebird LEVEL 2 Speaker Package from Kee Audio. I am very happy with the new sound. Nice to be able to crank up the sounds and not here the speakers breaking and cracking.

Trying to get rid of the serpentine belt squeak that comes around all the time. Replaced pulleys, tensioners, updated alternator bracket along with a new alternator while I was there and new Continental Elite (Gatorback) belts.

I just based my decision what I felt I needed. The old speakers were cracking and sounding like crap. I just needed something to be as good as or a little better than stock. With my mods that I have my car is a little loud so I picked Level 2 based on what and how they described it. Sound is better than stock, but I can't compare it to other higher cost stuff though. I am very pleased with it!

I went with Polk Audio component set for the doors and a Polk Audio plate speaker set for the hatch along with Bazooka subs for the quarter panels, made a huge improvement. Of course with the '96 mine had the Delco 2001 and not the Monsoon so life was easier for me. After much research and hesitation I went with Polk due to their reputation for clarity and accuracy in sound reproduction on that particular line of speakers, and I have to say all the reviews were right about that. Of course depending on your music and preferences you may not want accurate reproduction, but if so I think you'd have a hard time beating them and especially for the price. I still need to get around to installing an amplifier for the Bazookas, the factory amp can barely push them.
