Dodged a minivan that pulled out in front of me, had to go threw a driveway and end up 1/2 way on a curb then hop off before i hit the speed limit sign coming up.. Now the car has a small drip of oil coming from the oil filter area.. Everything else seems to be ok right now though...
Stupid people who don't look before pulling out should all die by public hangings..

It was 64* outside today! Beautiful!!
I was finally able to rinse off the pile of dust that had accumulated on my Formula all Winter.
I also had the pleasure of seeing how my car looks with the new Suncoast Raptor Hood and being clean at the same time!
Before giving it a bath, I ripped on it a little bit to test out the newly installed LS6 Intake. Very happy with results.
Today was a wonderful day!

Bought a good used headliner(recoverying anyway). Bought a mint set of 20k sunvisors(never had them in my car) and I plan on installing new motor mounts, grinding my k-member and trying to get some more clearance for the headers, and if everything works out well, I should have some SFCs comming in today.. shoulda been the first mod... whoops.

Just rolled over 50K last weekend.
So I heard the typical rear suspension creaks and moans when I went over bumps or dips in the road.
So I jacked up the car put it on jack stands and removed the wheels.
I had the Jack underneath the rear diff and proceeded to put a load on the suspension and listen to the creaks - turned out it was the Sway-bar bushings that were binding when the axle moved up and down.
So I loosened up the end-links, and removed the bushings from the axle and the sway-bar itself. I moved the axle up and down and sure enough the bushings were making the noise. They were also a little bit worn but I plan on getting performance bars from Sam within the next year and so I greased them up with some Mobil 1 synthetic bearing and chassis grease for a temporary fix, put them back on and took a drive.

Finally drove mine home after keeping it at work for the last 3 months while I finished my boat project. Best part of the day, the wife and I are pulling up to a stop light with the cut out open, and 3 kids in the back seat of a dodge start yelling. Mommy, daddy, look at that awesome car. The boy kept going VROOOM, VROOOM. Made my day. Took it home and parked it in its new spot in the garage.
