Can anything be done to the fugly eyelids/headlights on 98-02 TA/Birds ???

Lol ok I'll calm things down maybe the title was excessive. I like the look of the ta, I just hate the eyelids. They're just too large and stupd looking. The hood looks absolutely badass and mean I do agree with that. I was merely asking if there are alternatives to the headlights like non pop ups that have lenses that just look better than the eye lids?
The 96/7 ta front IS the best looking front end. In 98 Pontiac cut off the windshield forward and added on a new end. If uou knew anything about ca design and styling you would know that they tried their best to change the front on the car but it is no longe proportional to the rest of the vehicle because it wasn't changed with it.
I'm sure there are guys out there what were fans of the 93-7 style that can relate to how cutting off the front end and adding one that is 7 inches taller from the hood just doesn't sit right. It does look mean from the front though.

1,200 bux for some non pop up lights is it worth it and sorry the 93-97 to me just doesnt look as good as a 98-02 the headlight just look to small to me the nose is to long(i do like the long noses on a 3rd gen) out of proportion like puting 20in tires on these cars it just doesnt work for me but people like diff things

I agree. I love my WS6 and the car just looks bad *** from every angle, especially the front. But my least favorite part of the car is the pop up headlights. I don't like the look of it at all when their up. I sure as hell wouldn't pay $1200 to change them though.

I will admit though, that when the '98 Firehawk prototypes w/ the fixed headlamps were getting press, I really preferred those, and tried to order one. Unfortunately, it wasn't to be and when SLP threw in the towel, delayed the release to '99 and went w/ pop-ups, I went w/ a WS6 because of the hood.

1st buy rims to fit on a car. not buy a car depending on rims. 2nd dont take a beautiful car in which they dont make anymore trying to make it look like a new vette. the ONLY problem i see with the headlights is all of the lines and fitments issues getting them all straight. 
but look at a T/A at night...it looks pissed off and intimidating. 3rd pre98 T/A front ends are too long and pointy (no offense to owners). and 4th not ******* on c4 vettes because my uncle and girlfriend both drive em but they suck. fix up any c4 and take a stock T/A and see which one people like better. but maybe you shouldnt get a T/A so it wont get ruined by shopping carts

Actually the reason behind my post was that I was considering a 98-02 ta but just didn't like the eyelids. The car does look mean as ever and even though from a design perspective the 93-97 is correct from front to rear I didn't really mind it the flawed front end design. I'm talking about the side profile. Gm just took thf windshield forward , cut it off and tacked on a front end that wasn't as pointy but almost 5 inches taller at the hood. Ask any automotive designer and they will tell you that the styling is fail, even though it does look pretty mean.
