Where to buy new drls'/turn sigs?
Can someone link me a site where to get new QUALITY drl housings?
Mine finally got water logged after the heat cracked them.
Anybody running single filament bulbs minus the drl...turn signal only? If so, bulb number please.
The "new" ones on eBay, any good?

Outstanding...I guess they'll all be the same no matter where I get them. Was there anything extra you did to them to prevent them from collecting water?
Still waiting for bulb input...thanks guys

I just replaced mine with new ones from WS6Store.com and new sockets.
To hopefully prevent it from happening again, I replaced the bulbs with LEDs, which also required swapping in an EL-12 Triton flasher (available anywhere).
I'm not running any LEDs anywhere else because the DRLs are the only ones that have given me any problems. So far, so good. *fingers crossed*

Where'd you get the LEDs? Part numbers? Also, your new socket is the original design, correct?
I replaced my flasher with the el-12 a couple months back already...original was malfunctioning.
Thank you

I didn't use switchbacks - just regular amber 3157 LEDs, so I didn't have any of the issues he had. EL-12 flasher, new sockets, new DRL housings, and 2 LEDs. Done, and it works exactly the same as factory.
The LEDs I used are similar to the "LED Tower" bulb in his first picture. That's the style you're looking for so they'll shine light in all directions.
There's also a link somewhere on how to change the socket without cutting any wires, but I can't find it right now.

Thank you.
Did you have to use a led protecter with them?
I haven't installed my new housings yet, going to tint them soon, then order new bulbs so I don't have to worry about this ever again.

I know you already purchased yours, but I got both of mine for $65 from the dealer, that was without any of my normal discounts. I didn't have to wait for shipping either. Just FYI for other people coming across this thread.
In case you need new sockets, any parts store with the "HELP!" brand has sockets that work for much cheaper than any of the GM prices. I think I picked mine up for $8/ea. P/N 85881

Haven't looked yet(p/n)...have a/z right down the road, figured I'd just go tomorrow and pick them up. Need to rack up some more reward points w/ them anyway.
