Dash Pad Replacement prep work The dash pad on our 99TA has become so brittle that its falling apart on its on, so i decided to help it along and began to remove bits and pieces. Now the question is, would it be wise / safe to apply sound mat before installing the new pad(which has not been purchased yet) Is there any reason why it wouldnt be ok or wise to install the mat?
We are going to be replacing the carpet soon, so i have 100sq ft of the sound mat to install on the floor and doors and any part that i can install it on, but wanted to know about this area before i did..
