Thanks guys...the hood was the clincher on buying it. It's an aftermarket one but a good one. I'm buying headers, stall and suspension this week for the car and a cam in January to go with the 243's I have on the shelf....me and Frost are looking for high 10's on motor with the 346!

I always liked gold, no idea why they only made them for 1 year. I've only ever seen one in person.

I've seen 3 at one time at the Trans Am Nationals this past August. The one year 1998 SGM outnumbered the 3 year run of 2000-2002 Maple Red Metallics, with myself and one other guy being the only MRMs. It was 1 Formula and 2 Trans Ams. But there is at least one every year at the Nats since 98 when they came out.

OP, sharp car for sure. Quite a steal.
