Should I sell my 02 CETA? or mod it
I have owned her for about 2 years now and really want a car I can play around with. I dont really want to mess around with such a beautiful car but i am hesitant on selling it.

I have a CETA vert M6 so I understand the concern. Let's face it, it's a funky color, goofy graphics WS6 with some embroidery and documentation. We are not sitting on a goldmine here. I figure I can do it tastefully and have the most over-the-top looking TA (probably ever) and mod it so it eats just about every car on the road. I'm not waiting for a "collector" to offer me $100k in 20 years because my car is a low-mileage, totally stock CETA. It ain't happening. In the mean time, I'm more than happy to have it make the neighborhood Porsches look like appliances and have it scare children and domestic animals into hiding.

I bought my CETA T/A with the intention of changing the colour because you either love or hate it! After joining this site and asking the same question because I was hesitating, I don't think mine is a gold mine either! I think these cars are meant to be driven and enjoyed, a true collector could afford to have two and do both!! Who knows if fossil fuel vehicles will even be practacle in 20 years, as long as you are improving and not destroying the legend I say have fun!!! Les>>>

if you're worried about the value with modding it, just keep your stock parts.
i really believe that you'll enjoy the car more if you are able to play with it a little more.
i've seen some fully restored 69 Camaros around here that are lightly modded and have lost no value, so i wouldn't worry about it
