Default What is this above my rear end on my 1998 TA

I am flushing the rear end fluid today and noticed a small black box above my rear end on the drivers side! looks to have one electrical connector and a hose leading towards the fuel tank! What is this? does not look to be mounted well kinda jusy hanging there!. thanks

I know what your talking about, my best guess is fuel pump relay ?

Should be kinda in the wheel well, thats your evap can. Its part of your emissions system.

It is the body connector that houses the wires that run off to the fuel pump, and if equipped with ASR, to the rear brakes as well. It shouldn't be hanging though-try and put it back into its opening in the body.

I spent alot of time dealing with that part of the car when my 97Z's fuel pump went out-some of my electrical testing took place in that connector block...
