hi, my 93 firebird is having some shifting issues. It starts out fine but when i hit 3rd or OD it goes to 2000 RPM's and then bogs down to like 1000. I dont know why its doing this but i thought it was the d10 cable and it turned out to be a fine cable. So if you have any ideas on what this could be then please let me know! thank you

93s came with the 4L60 which was the same as the th700r4, didnt change majorly until it became the 4L60E in 94.
Have you checked the obvious...fluid level? Too much or too little fluid causes most problems in automatic transmissions. I dont remember if 700r4s have the detent cable but I think they do, that has an adjustment IIRC. Otherwise it could be something in the trans.
