Default Sworo's WS6

I wanted to start a "Car Journal" so here we go...

2002 Pontica Trans Am Ram Air WS6
Sunset Orange Mettalic
Black Leather
6-Speed
T-tops
Miles: 19,200 (at time of purchase)

In March of '10, my Wife got me the best Birthday Gift you can give to a man, his dream car. I flew out to the upper Eastcoast to pick up the dream car to drive back to Illinois. I didn't even hit over 70 MPH to make sure she would get back with out any problems.

I only drive her in fair weather & stored the WS6 away in the winter months. This is my garage queen & I plan on keeping her that way.

As far as upgrades, I'm planning on doing mainly bolt-ons right now. I would like to keep it simple and not get too overboard with her. I am taking a "Less is more" aproach to modifications of this muscle car.

These pictures are from the dealership I bought the Trans Am from....

Here are some pictures I took after cruzing around. Before I took the Trans Am out I detailed the hell out of her.

Very nice! A very desireable color too. Welcome to the almost non-existant club of 'less is more'. 100% stock here right down to the Delco battery and GM air filter.
Enjoy the many years of ownership you have in front of you and give your wife an extra hug. Nothing like a woman who understands her husband's 'other' needs . I have one of those too

congrats on the purchase...very clean car and low mileage...i know you'll enjoy your bird as it is a dying breed now but the clean ones you do see around always has heads turning and people complimenting them.

Sweet! I love that color. I enjoy modding but I have a few that are strictly stock, down to paper filter and factory battery. Its cool to get in those and enjoy the stock feel. Sometimes the loud exhaust and aftermarket suspensions can beat you up. Kudos for keeping one factory for future generations to enjoy.

For my birthday my wife does it again. This time I got a Last of The Breed package which included 2 LOTB badges, 1 LOTB key chain, & 1 LOTB certificate. I put the VIN number on the LOTB certificate & later will frame it and place it on the wall of my garage. The LOTB badges I installed by using rubbing alcohol to clean the area of dirt and wax, measured to make sure placement of the badge's will be installed in the same place. Here are the final pictures....

To give the 2002 WS6 a little more power, I installed a new ported & polish stock throttle Body that I picked up on eBay, coolant by-pass system on the throttle body where I picked up parts from a local hardware store, & a Volant Cold Air Intake system.

For me, this is a 'less is more' approach. I'm talking about full out blower or something like that. Like I said in my first post, I'm only planning on bolt-ons. Nothing more, nothing less.

Funny how that works out.

Best color bird there is!! It's wierd how I used to see WS6's everywhere and now I hardly ever see one. And when I do I break my neck looking at it, and I own one. There was nothing like them on the road then or now.

I bought mine new and I told myself I'd just do exhaust. Now I have full bolt-ons, full suspension, rims and am pulling the trigger on a H/C package this month.

How much did ya pay? I have 17k on mine so I'm curious to see what there going for now.
