What you don't see will not Scare you
Hmm, for me my longest run happened one year where I had to take my wife to San Diego from San Jose to see some special surgeon about doing some hip surgery on her.
It normally takes around 7 hours plus to run down highway 5.
We got there in 6 hours flat.
She fell asleep after an hour of driving at around 80.
After that, the radar detector came on, and I never saw 80 again for sometime.
Did you know that a WS6 actually rides nicer at 110 - 115 than it does at 75 or 80?
When she woke up, she commented on how nice an smooth the car drives..LOL

87 TPI Z28 cross country twice, both trips were great.I know this is gonna sound like bs but we averaged 32 mpg and one stretch in Wyoming we actually got 36 mpg!
I actually drove from Las Vegas Nv to Laramie Wy in one day, I was halucinatiing the last few miles. Never do that many miles again in one day!
If you can I wooood drive rt70 from Denver into Utah, Its just unreal scenery and at Green River Utah you can get a great steak!
Wish i could go do it all over again, so many things I passed by I wish I wooooood have stopped and done. both trips were in the early 90's before this world went farkin crazy. I hope you have a great time and be careful!

Well, not sure if mine counts, but I think it's close enough.
A buddy of mine and I drove across the country and back to get my '84 T/A. (Los Angeles to Rochester, NY, then back to Los Angeles) all inside one week. We actually drove my truck and pulled a trailer and made it in 45 hours just about to the minute. This includes a 2 hour "break" in Vegas, and stopping for one hour the next night.
We visited my family for a day, loaded my car on the trailer, then headed down to Carlisle, PA, for the spring show, attended the show for a couple of days, then headed back. We left Friday mid day and arrived back in LA early Sunday am.
Good times.

I've twice done a trip between Shreveport, Louisiana and Holbrook, New York. 25 hour drive, stopping for gas (picked up food from inside station), and one 20min nap at a rest stop (cant bring myself to really sleep). Didn't use up much oil, and gas bill wasn't too bad, but never kept track of MPG.
I've also done several trips between Shreveport and Jacksonville, Florida non-stop except for gas.

I flew to Phoenix to buy my new T/A and drove it 1200 miles back home to East Texas. Then I drove a rental car from TX to OH, came back and took the T/A to Austin for the weekend (~600 mi round trip). Recently I took to the T/A on a quick trip to New Orleans for the weekend (another 1200 mi round trip).

I did the Maryland to Memphis run in both the TTA and WS6 for the F-Body Events. Also took the TTA to Indy. The WS6 got 29mpg and the TTA got 30mpg. Also brought the WS6 down to MS.
Those were the only real "long" trips the cars had seen. They both went to Englishtown a couple of times for the SLP day events but they were only a few hours of driving.
