Default Adding an overflow resevoir on a 67 Firebird...there isnt one

Has anyone added an overflow resevoir for the rad on a 67 Firebird. Seems odd that there isnt one in place. If you did can you tell me what capacity jug you used and where did you mount it. Thanks

'67s probably didn't have one from the factory. I don't remember seeing them until the early '70s.

you can add it on the front side of the core support if you want. I've added aftermarket tanks there. however, I recommend painting it flat black so it's not obviously visible through the grille.

older cars typically didn't have them, they just had an overflow hose dump them on the ground.
