Im def interested. As long as you tell us where to get the same projectors and how to install everything lol. So it'd come more like a kit? Like here's the pieces so we can paint it, put our projectors in, and then seal it up?

I think what killed the look of the red t/a is the rectangular lights in there. Makes it look like its got lazy eye. If it had 2 projectors each, an the insides painted to match the vehicle, it would look clean.

^^ that's the reason I never liked the breathless ones either. We don't have a squared anything on these cars everything is curved lol. To have a light like that is a bad choice.

At least we are all on the same page. The rectangle high beam is L7 all the way.

I chose the D2S housing as its the most readily available and the industry standard now from what I can tell. I'll give customers the option to buy the housing only, with projectors only, and I'll either do a buy in or get a big group buy for the first round for a complete kit. Essentially any D2S HID kit with an H4 harness will work, but not everyone will want to fork out

Here's some stuff I have done so far, theres a few tricks i learned while working on this over the years....always hopin somebody will come up with something better...while it is cheaper to do, the time gets eaten up with adjusting and fiberglassing, and seeing if it looks good, I have settled for functional over looks for right now...but definitely have at it. I really do wanna see some new ideas.

I am very interested. I have been thinking for the past couple months on how to make them myself. Here is my idea so far, I want to take the inside plastic or mounting piece of the c5 conversion kit, with 2 round holes for projectors and mount my projectors to it and then form a sheet of acrylic as the plastic cover using my current headlight cover. My issue at this moment is what am I going to mount the projectors too? I would love to be able to make a plastic piece to hold and mount the projectors too, I just don't know how. I've thought of making it out of fiberglass at first and taking the mold and having it reproduced but I don't know if I can make a good mold.

No I'm not very good at drawing but I want it to be like the C5 conversion kits. I'd like to be able to make the inside clear lid paint able. So that you can paint it to match your car color. Also I thought about putting a turn signal in it as well, not sure about that. I have to take out my lights and flip the gear for the driver side this weekend so I'm going to get my base made. I'd like to make a bolt on piece, make a template and take it to some local plastic manufacturers and see about making those, then form the projectors mounts to the bottom form.

Yea its all drawn, pulled out stock stuff and sort of fabbed up a mount plate. My lens guy has bailed on me it seems so I'll probably make the first set off the stock lid while designing the molds for the lens and I'll make them myself too.

Looking at tommygunz photoshop last night and was thinking about doing them with no lens and a duct in the middle of the car to ram air to the intake...

Things are progressing slowly right now as I have another vacation next week, lots of work, and 3 cars that need constant fixing and tinkering
