Mods for my 77 Trans Am
I want to get some extra ponies for my newly bought Trans am and I was wondering what I should do. It is the 400ci and i want to know what heads, cam, exhaust, headers, intake, turbo, and intercooler I should use. I want to get around 500-700 rwhp. I only want to spend about $6000-10000. Any thoughts.

I agree with D79. I am a die hard Poncho guy, but those old school 400's are not power makers. Dont get me wrong they can but $ for $ you will get far more bang for your buck with an LS base. And you will get the weight off the front of the car and greatly help the handling. Just my opinion man.

It's a boosted section on a Pontiac bulletin board. Lots of good info.
