Default Resetting OBDII

I have noticed when resetting P0430 that if I use my 2 top of the line actron scanners to reset the codes and pending codes, it does not last as long as a disconnected battery reset. I can get about 2 weeks before the light comes on with a battery reset, 1 or 2 days with the actron. Any ideas why? I am thinking of using the o2 spacer to deal with the P0430 code.

Sounds like either your Cat or 2ndary O2s are shot. Fix the problem, then the code won't come back.

I have a scan tool and it shows the o2 sensors working. I think the cats might be bad, GM said they would still warranty them but there is no way in hell I am going to let anyone work on it. I noticed there is a broken exhaust bolt that popped off byitself and from what I have read that is common, so I dont need the dealer breaking more off.
