97 TA 9inch w389gear

I just ordered a 2003 corvette t56 tranny. What would be the best motor to look for to make it work? I would like to put an LS2 in it. What will I have to do to make it work and keep my 9inch also

A corvette transmission is designed to mount in the rear of the car. You'll have to change a lot around to make it work in a TA...

As mentioned above, your gonna have to do some modifying to get that tranny in lol. You can always sell it or trade it for a Trans Am LS1 T-56 one.
