Beleave there is a diff between the pump for a steel tank and the plastic tank, do use the hot wire kit, before cutting the hole "loosen" the tank straps a little so the tank hangs down about 1/4 " so/becarefull and do not cut any wires/lines

Is there a write up on how to replace the pump on a 98? Everything is different than on 99 and, my fuel lines are metal vs your plastic etc
