Complete the motor or go Forced Induction?
I'm a big fan of simpler and fewer moving parts. Building an NA street/strip appeals to that idea. The motor build so far has NA written all over it. Yet it will run out of potential eventually. Only thing left is intake manifold and heads, with the exception of a bigger cam. This will put me at about 450 rwhp. I'm afraid of getting bored with that. It will be fun until I get used to it, which happens.
This leads me to consider an FI setup, where the power gain is much much easier to attain and adjust to my liking. I may end up at 500 rwhp, in which it will become the frightening beast I want. Probably just answered my own question there, but I'd like some feedback. I probably won't change the 4.11 or stall, and keep the motor as is, if going FI. I would like to maximize the 2nd gear traction threashhold, which has always been the fun one. A supercharger is most likely as I do not want to get rid of the exhaust. NO NITROUS!!!! I grew teeth, I don't need a bottle.

A twin turbo setup is superior, I agree. I'm already sold on the water cooled turbines from APS and the rest of the beautiful craftsmanship. I realize now that torque is the number I'm after, not hp, and turbos make big torque. However, I like the progressive power gain from a supercharger, even if my stall flashes to 3,500 and has a shift extension of 5,000. Boost is boost, and with a stall it will make power. I don't want to get rid of the ARH exhaust now that it's on.
The compression is 11:1, not the best for FI, but after talking to my tuner it's a only a matter of turning back the timing and adding boost. A 100 rwhp gain shouldn't be that wild, otherwise I'll swap the heads for a larger cc.
I asked the trans builder to max it out for a 4L60, so it has all of the awesome hardware one would expect. I've been beating on it for 50,000 miles, no problems. But of course, the laws of physics says that more force equals more wear and tear. I should have built a 4L80, but I didn't know. The last 6 years of building this car has taught me everything I know. As I understand it, autos favor shorter gears, so I'm not too worried.
The fuel system contains a 255 lph in tank and 42 lb injectors. Not sure about the lines, stock rails. All requirements will be addressed, that's why I take it to the pros. I know this well, being a professional bicycle mechanic. Break your $14,000 carbon racing bike or $70 walmart bike, I'm your guy!
