I dont know if anyone else has done this before but I got tired of the power antenna and the crapy reception it gave me. So I ordered this amplified antenna, painted it to match and installed it as seen in the pic below...

I think it looks out of place right in the middle of the spoiler, but i dont think there is anyplace else to put it on a vert

I think you did a good job. It's not too bad if you really disliked the antenna that much. With convertibles you don't have many options. I have the satellite on my GT/CS 'vert and this is where they stuck it too (click on the photo to enlarge).

How much did that antenna cost? Was it hard to install? I wonder if this would look good on the top of the sail panel roof area behind the t-tops?
