actually i have a T/A but looking back i would rather have the weight savings of the formula. i also like how their fog lights are almost as good as the flip up lights. whereas the T/A foglights are barely noticeable from the drivers seat. i do like my hood and wing though .

I love my Formula to death and been waiting a long time to get this car. Even without the WS6 or Firehawk options they are rare especially with a 6sp. Having the WS6 or Firehawk option just makes them that much more special. Even though they do look like a V-6 Firebird it is still extremely fun to whip some unsuspecting victims @$$.

All same year LS1's make the same power Ram Air or Not! All the factory ratings are bogus. That's why I ordered my Formula in the base package with a 6spd. Plain Jane Car that Kick's ***. As much as I like the Trans Am I wanted to be different. Besides Formulas constitute about 10% of all Firebird sales since `98, Pretty rare cars indeed
If you check my Sig you'll notice I have a WS6 Hood. WHY? Well I couldn't pass it up for $250. would You ?

it all boils down to preference when you think about it the formies are sleepers, and the ta's look more flashy. I like my TA but I would have taken a formy at the same time.

I have a 94 Firehawk Formula. To be honest i cant really decide what i would like better a formula or a T/A. I like them both for what the have or in regards to the formula what it doesnt have. The argument that Ram Air doesnt work is getting sooooo old. I mean its almost the same as having CAI. They just work in different ways. You cant tell me that a direct line to the TB will not be an improvment compared to the stock intake. Now is it really doing a "ramming" effect? Well no.

I just can't deal with that wing on the back of the T/A. I do like the Firehawk wings, but the Formula is just cleaner all the way around. If you think you'll get mistaken for just another Firebird, just stomp the pedal and show them different. I always like to count how many WS6's I see on the road compared to Formulas. It looks to be about 12 to 1 so far.

The ultimate for me is a formula with a stock front bumper with a ws6 hood. No ground effects, no wing, none of that ****. 17 " firehawk wheels.

I love my Formula. Even with the Smoothies & 315's in the back some people make the Bad mistake of thinking it's a V6 Bird. Nothing like a good sleeper.

Formulas are my favorites after Z's!!! They are lighter and have the exact HP, thus they are faster. Do Formulas are Z's weigh about the same thing? I know the Z is the lightest, but how much does a stripper Formy weight???

I like the Trans Am, but once you get a hood and some nice wheels on the Formula they look bad ***.

I Love an American Made RWD V-8 period...I just got a kick out of the last few responses claiming they prefer their Formulas over the T/A, but only after they put the WS6 hood, and better wheels on it. In essence, making it a T/A clone...WTF is that all about... (This wasn't ment to bash the formies, just couldn't figure it out) but the general concenses I guess is that everyone loves the price of their formulas, but they prefer the WS6 hood...Gotta love an all aluminum V-8

i got 2 formulas love them, i do like t/a,s to i dont mind having one. but when i was shopping to trade in my 96 gt i found the 01 formula wish are hard to come by and since i already had the 94 formula said he11 another one in the garage to match. wife drives the 01 so we got the his and hers formulas. but there he11 of sleepers especially the 01. the 94 says formulav8 on the bumper and with the catback thers is no mistaking but the 01 just says it on the door and its the same color as the car so the word formula blends in nice.
