Like the Formula better but I'm biased. Would agree with those who said the wheels and hood make good candidates for a swap. I heard that SLP will now sell Firehawk hoods to anyone (no vin required), but I haven't confirmed that. Might make for a nice x-mas present to myself, if its true .

A4 Formulas could also come with 3.23 gears.

I love all things f-body, but looks and performance wise i could not get away from my T/A Firehawk, just my opinion. I am glad that i was in a position financially to own one, but I would have gone for a T/A, Formula, Z-28, etc. They are all great cars and relatively easy to mod the hell out of. here are some pics of mine

I agree with that statement. I've got Firehawk and I'm glad I payed the extra for it. I see T/A's and Formula's sometimes and since mines a 2002 I've got a different spoiler than everyone but the few 10th aniversary cars and 2002 Firehawks. So basically theres less than 2000 cars that look like mine. Plus the Firehawk hood is smoother and cleaner than the WS6 hood.

basically they make around 20000 trans ams a year compared to lessthat 2000 formulas a year. Kind of like the LX versus the GT mustangs.

The point of the Formula was to be all the go fast parts without the weight. It's supposed to be a hopped up Firebird. In other words, it's the speed "formula" as far as options are concerned. The top of the line is not merely a body kit.

Yeah I tried to get my formula hawk base but for 2002 it came standard with power everything and t-tops. There was no getting a base no optioned formula in 02. I do like having everything though. I am not out to make a race car.
