A couple of free mods would be to do the coolant bypass on your TB to keep a little heat off the air intake tract.

A good one is to open up the air intake tract more. Here are a couple pics of what I did on mine. It just takes a little time and some patience.

Cut out the area under where the filter sits.

Here is what it will look like installed.

I took it one step further and cut some off the a/c condenser shroud to allow more air to get into the box at once.

As for cheap mods, that is relative. What you consider cheap others might not and vice versa. I would first look into a lid, then a PnP TB -> headers + catback/duals -> ls6 intake. Also get a mail order tune from someone like Frost, TSP, Slowhawk, ect. That alone is worth a good bit over the stock tune. Once you start doing things like heads & cam move on to a dyno tune. But these things will at least get you on the right track to moving fast and enjoying the car.

Thank you it already has xp racing mail order tune and no cats with slp exhaust. Should I go with headers or radials and intake lid?

I would chose headers over tires any day. They will net you sotp and dyno benefits.

I would do headers first. You're going to wear out the radials quick and have less $$ to replace the rearend when it grenades from the increased traction (especially if you have a M6).

It's worth considering some suspension work. While they aren't adding or freeing up power, they are going to make an F-body feel way better under load. You might want to start with LCAs, panhard bar, a strut bar, LCA relocation kit, and maybe sways.
