Granted it's not a bird, but it is the car that got me to get my current car. Was going through a light and had the right of way and some bitch in a Jeep Cherokee decided to turn without a green arrow and not pay attention, hit me on the driver's side then knocked me into a Dakota on the passenger side. I was fine, just ******* pissed.

This happened back in like 2006 I was on the freeway coming up to a curb it was raining there must have been oil on the ground or something (my tires needed changing I was actually gonna do it that day lol) anywho got into a drift on the turn I was inexperienced slammed on the brakes went right into the barrier that then shot me across the freeway to the other side of the barrier which I hit again lol then a dumb lady didn't see me wiping out as I ricochet off the wall I hit her with the *** of my car which slammed me back into the wall one final time.

where did you get the spring from, I've been thinking about do that myself (which is why I had that link ready) but can't find one that matches that on the Lowes website, do you have a part number and brand for the spring you got?

new lifts might help, but it was never intended to raise the hatch, his could because it didn't have the weight of the wing on the hatch, maybe if you had a formula hatch and used the T/A lifts (there are different part numbers) then you might see the same effect he described. but no they weren't designed to raise it up, just to hold it up.

But I didn't put the new spring on top of the old one, like the guide says. I took the old one off entirely.
