I would highly suggest just going over to youtube and checking out some sound clips of different setups, I've found everyone has there own definition of sound good, but keep in mind, headers and cats will affect the tone vs stock manifolds.

I can tell you mine sounds deep, but it also isnt very common.
longtubes + 4" Y pipe setup.

I have stock manifolds and I believe the stock Y pipes, with a welded in flowmaster muffler. Not much good feed back on the set up but no offense taken since I didn't choose the exhaust set up that's on my 96 T/A. But I actually like the sound it gives. A nice lope at idle, aggressive roar during acceleration and strong rumble while down shifting. A very simple and inexpensive way to spice up the exhaust but its better than stock and not bad in my opinion

here ya go. The duals system was fairly quiet but noticeable. Too quiet for me though.

I have Kooks true duals and think it is too loud. Im getting 92 dB at idle, 20 feet away from the back of the car. Im disappointed that I have to cut a $1600+ exhaust system to add resonators. Had I known it would be too loud to bring to the drag strip, I would have bought mufflers and had a shop do a custom exhaust.
OP I suggest Magnaflow for good sound, but SLP is probably more up your alley.
