Sequential taillights
I have been considering the Webelectric kit designed for 4th gen T/As for a little while now, and have done a search here reading the posts about it. I wanted to see if there is anyone out there that this kit and can tell me how it has been working after an extended period of time. Any problems? Some issues I have read about are one side working slower than that other and things like that. I did see a video awhile back where it looked like the signals were going way too fast, but I understand that can be controlled by the flasher? I guess the reason I haven't pulled the trigger is having to cut into the wiring and I wanted to see if it was going to be worth it.

I put mine in this past summer and I Hate wiring anything but it wasn't to bad. How ever I had one side module was shorted when installed so I had to pull it and send back. They were pretty quick about getting it back no charge, must have been a fluk thing. What's nice is they are made right here in the good old USA in FLA. not in some sweat shop overseas. Only thing I would recommend would be to use crimp style connectors with the heat shrink for a better and safer connection. I recommend

Yes you can. The flasher is what causes LEDs to not work correctly. I would advise against LEDs in the taillights for two reasons:
1. Unless you buy Triton LEDs no other LED will be as bright as stock. Tritons are about $100/pair. There is a reason why you NEVER see anyone post LED lights in the daylight. Even the Triton red LEDs only produce 210 lumens, so I'm not sure if that's up to par or not.
2. Taillights will have hot spots. Not sure if Triton LEDs produce hot spots.

So do the brakes illuminate sequentially when you are just going to stop? If so, that kind of a bummer, but not a deal breaker.
My main concern is the farthest bulb on the outside since it's dimmer than the others. Is there a way to get all the lights to be equally bright?

Yes, according to the website, the brakes can give a sequential burst before staying on, but can modify it by the wiring to do the turn signal function only. As far as the outer light being dimmer, I believe they took care of that by supplying a 921 bulb to replace the 194 in the outer socket.

In my opinion this is a quality American made product and I'm very please with however as mentioned above I would use a crimp style connector with heat shrink that is already on connector in stead of the supplied connectors. 3M also make's a similar connector that is used in the kit that is filled with dielectric grease and is to be far better than the cheapies.
Make sure units are mounted upright securely before testing as I think they have a mercury switch in them. I had one short because I was in a hurry(sent back and was repaired no charge) but they warn against it it directions. I just drilled some holes in the taillight wing nuts and zip tied them secure and ran some duct tape over for protection.

Well... looks like I'm getting sequential turn signals!

I have their switchbacks as well but haven't had a chance to install them yet.

Unfortunately not! I knew I should have.
I also had to use the fuses in the relays for the brake lights as well, because they were causing some of the bulbs in the 3rd brake light to stay dim with no other lights on.
