that is a good low mileage find. I've seen them similar mileage and condition list up to 18k out here in No Houston area.

cool I'm actually in the Woodlands. There are only a few firebirds in this town. Tons of new mustangs, camaros and vettes. Everyone wants to drive new and newer.

Actually, when I looked at buying one in 98, I was informed that the single in, single out was in fact a Borla exhaust. It was designed that way as it flowed better than the cross up design but as you guys know, most people hated it even though it was, and is, a superior design to the cross up used on WS6, Firebird and Firehawk. Now I realize this is LS1 tech, so if I was misinformed by the number one seller of the car in Canada (Leggat Burlington, JD Hooper of Leggat leasing) then please do tell

Nice. I saw your post earlier and didn't have time to reply. I am an original owner of a 98 WS6 convertible with 31k miles. In '98 they did have a strike that limited the production of these cars and I know the convertible WS6 is especially rare. I researched it at one point and I think mine was one of 300 in total for the year. I never researched the hartop, but I'm sure it was limited as well. And yes, that single exhaust was the first thing to go. It's the only mod I ever made to the car. It was not Borla, just junk stock. I only replaced it however because it looked so off balance. GM should have filled in the bumper on the right side instead of leaving it empty. Anyways, enjoy. You found a good one!
