Default Stock trans am 98 Help!!!!

Im looking to build a "Test pipe" for my cat or resonator? not sure what one it is. right underneath the passanger side. What size piping to i need to use and size flanges? please help

a 98 LS1 (which is the motor you would have if you are a TRANS AM and not a v6 firebird) has 2 cats built into the stock y-pipe, to eliminate them you would simply buy an "off-road y-pipe", this actually solves 2 issues, it eliminates the cats and gets rid if the "flattened" section of pipe.

bear in mind removing cats on a street car is illegal and can result in a multi-thousand dollar fine if you get busted by the emissions people or the cops (if they know what to look for), it will also increase the raspiness of the exhaust.

thank you any recemendations i still have stock headers?

Stock exhaust are manifolds, not headers.
