2000 Trans am Exhaust replacement
Hi, Im new here and have a question about exhaust. My 2000 TA has 81k miles and i need to replace the muffler and tail pipes. The previous owner replaced it with a hooker muffler and tail pipes. Any recomendations as to what is good without blowing out my eardrums? Its a daily driver. Thanks!

man, gotta be honest, if the Hooker Cat-back is to loud for you then you might as well go back to stock, it's pretty mild most of the time unless you just happen to be in the "drone zone" for the setup or are constantly revving it way up.
I have it myself, one thing I would suggest is get under there and inspect it to make sure it was done right, if any of the pipes are pushing up against ANY section of the under body that can create a reverb through the whole car making it sound louder then it is, I had this issue because I couldn't get the passenger side exit pipe to go all the way and so it was against the underbody for a few days and got WAY quieter after fixing the issue causing it..
