Where can I find this part for my TA convertible?????!!!! Need to find a part for my 1998 T/A convertible...Went to the GM dealership and the part was discontinued.. Its a little round brass piece that a bolt goes through that bolts onto a bracket.. Its number 16 on the blow up parts diagram on 1998 Firebird.....Help me out with whatever you can.

You could look online to see if a junkyard has a firebird convertible (and probably camaro?). There's also the parts classifieds on here. I'm not sure if you can post inside a for sale thread or not, but as a new member you definitely can't make a wanted thread. I don't believe it would be against the rules for you to pm someone who is parting out their car at the very least.

You can also post a WTB in the classifieds section BUT just like for sale ads, you'd need 50 posts OR six months as a member to post over there. Hurry up and get to 50 posts!
Have you asked the dealer parts guy to do a search for it? They can check every GM parts department and if any have it, they'll tell you.
