Smile Transmission Tunnel Cutting???

Hello Everyone, I got a Little Project I plan on Starting soon and I've got small question. I got a 97 Firebird 3.8 Auto, and a 98 Trans Am WS6 6 Speed as a Donor Car. I've read that you need to "cut" a whole on the Transmission Tunnel for the 6 Speed to fit in the Automatic Firebird. Can someone tell me exactly where that hole needs to be cut, or if you have pics that would be grate. Also is it Necessary to have a hole cut?

My 97 Firebird was made in February of 1997 and my 98 Trans Am was made in October of 97 if that helps any.

And please dont say "Just Sell the 97 and fix up the 98" The 98 Trans Am Has Major Dents and Rust holes everywhere on the floor boards (Some so big you could almost stick your head trough) and trunk. Aswell as Frame Damage, and my 97 Firebird has a Straight, rust free body.

Thank You, and God Bless
