A good body shop will have that done in no time. If you don't know anyone yourself, ask 'locals' who they trust.

I've got a few pros locally that will do it. I will remove the panel for them too. I just want the car being as proper as it can be- I know it sounds stupid bit at the same time I discovered one of my fenders tabs completely broken off so that has to be fixed too.

I treat my car like gold too (28k on it)... But my addiction for speed overcame my fear of flaws.

Just checking on your definition of "mint." In my dictionary, "mint" panels would be in their original staple configuration and all cracked to hell.

I have a pair of *mint* door panels for my car. By mint I mean no cracks. Before they get installed, them staples are coming out!

Haha- yeah I got that stuff done as soon as I found out. Graphite door panels are hard to come by!

You gotta tell us if the belt buckle fits the gash in the door and lines up with the scuff on the plastic. We can't go fixing things until the mystery is solved...

OP, you might be able to confirm it was the belt buckle by looking for any kind of mark on the door sill at the same location the door mark is at.

Good call. If you look at the photo, right above the hole there is a light mark right on the door panel, too.

Just take off the door panel.

Edit: I just read the thread. So... is your car 100% mint then?

It's a clean unmolested example. I wouldn't ever call it a Barrett Jackson piece but it's nice.

This is good. We do not allow any activity related to molestation on this site!

By this weekend I will post pictures of the belt buckle inside of the crack. I'm almost positive that's what did it.

The glove fits. Wow! Excellent detective work here.

Now... to turn this in to something positive. Are you married? This is something you can use as leverage with a spouse. Even if it was there when you got the car. No one would know.

This is a very uncommon case... These special powers are only invoked on interior damage done on the passenger side of the vehicle.

With this kind of damage, I could negotiate for dipping in to the family budget for the repair. ... and maybe a camshaft to ease the emotional pain.

Lol, no marriage. I'll get it repaired next year maybe. Just too much **** going on right now for me to worry about. Bent/broken fender tabs, possible power steering leak, this hole in the door.....great.
