Default Repaint Ideas

So I'm doing work on my 02 and Have the urge to repaint and just can decide what color. its a gloss black from factory and just want something different.. Nothing to crazy (no pinks or neons or ricer style) just a different color. I was thinking a dark blue with metallic flake or a gray like Mighty Car Mods Squid Juice Gray. Any ideas would help

Whatever you want is fine but keep in mind that at some point in the future you will want to sell your car. That means all the door jambs, interior of the trunk, engine bay, etc.. will need to match. Otherwise it looks real bad. It gets pricey so changing colors is a big decision.

I like black. But Lemans blue from the C6 Z06 is a sweet color IMO.

I'm in the same boat. I have a chip out of my hood and rash/minor dents on just about every body panel from when I had to live in the hood temporarily.

I was thinking I might be able to change the color and keep black as an accent color in some way, in order to avoid stripping the entire thing and painting it inside and out? Can this be pulled off and not look totally <insert colorful metaphor here>?

Why would anyone do that? What is this "sell" thing you talk of?

Im in the same boat. I can't decide if I want to keep my 1995 Trans Am in its original black, or go with Shark Grey.

It's amazing how much more modern that color can make a '95 T/A look!

I always wanted to paint my old white t/a like the supersonic blue corvettes but I ended up buying a mbm trams am and selling my white car to build it. Since your car is gloss black the trunk and engine bay won't look bad of you don't paint them. I'd definitely do the door jams and areas around the t tops tho.
